Description
This is a well appointed unit with high end finishes and new furnishings. This unit is on the bottom floor with two beds and two baths located in building 4 right across from the new recreation center. This unit offers free WI-FI. The living room offers a nice flat screen TV, electric fireplace & a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with many accessories & seating for 6 in the dining area. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and flat screen TV. The guest room has a queen bed as well. From the private balcony you have long range mountain views and a ski in/out slope view in the winter. This unit has an electric remote fireplace & a washer/dryer. The clubhouse is now open to our guests with an indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, & fitness room. The property also has tennis courts and outdoor grilling areas. The place is great ! Stayed with my daughter for four days, ski holidays. Very close to Oma’s meadow lift, it’s a huge plus. Also the unit is a few steps to the pool.
The unit was very clean, nice kitchen and living room. Rooms and bathrooms were ok (would have preferred a firmer mattress).
Heaters worked very well.
Would definitely come back.

We came up from South Florida for a chilly stay at Sugar Ski and Country Club. What a delightful condo for our family of 5!! My daughter commented that the bed in the second bedroom was “the most comfortable bed she’s ever slept in”! The location was perfect for enjoying the mountain, watching the skiers head down the mountain and enjoy the views. All in the small details in the condo were absolutely perfect, the hot cocoa, the heaters, the ski locker...everything. Thank you for the best first ski experience my kids could have had 🙂

The perfect place for a family vacation on the slopes. The space was very comfortable, even with 3 adults & 2 kids. Exceptionally clean & equipped with everything we needed. Truly ski in/out (although not for beginners). And the heated pool was a hit with the kids after a long day riding! Property staff were friendly and helpful. One of the nicest rentals we've stayed in, will definitely be back!

Good location just across from club house w pool, sauna, hot tub. Very close to grocery and dining. Space was comfortable and clean. MST bath the shower worked one day and then not the next and was only issue we had. Glad we found this lodging.

Have stayed in other units in previous years but this one is the nicest. This unit is updated, and you will not be disappointed. The location to the slope, the parking, and the clubhouse makes everything easier. We will definitely rent this unit again.

The refrigerator was making a loud buzzing sound. We had to unplug it and plug it back up to get it to stop. THAT is the directions the office gave us when we called. The refrigerator DID NOT keep the food I brought cold enough. The stove has almost impossible to cook on. SOMEONE NEEDS TO REPLACE THE STOVE AND REFRIGERATOR. We did not have enough towels. The FURNITURE IS AWFUL. IT SHOULD ALL BE UPDATED. There were dirty towels in one of the units we rented. I really hope someone will call me. I spend TOO much money for this unit to have it look the way it did.

We had a great little ski weekend in this unit. The lady at the front desk told us that this unit has a new owner that is currently updating it, and I like the direction they are going with it. The new pics aren't up at the time of my review, but it has a much more modern feel than other units we have rented. Its location is great too. It's an end unit, so it is quiet and has much more natural light than other units. I highly recommend this 2 bed, 2 bath unit for anyone wanting a quiet, comfortable stay on the mountain.

Last minute decision for a weekend ski trip due to the perfect snowy weather. Janice and Gina were so helpful and recommended unit 411 which was wonderful. Everything you need: clean and comfortable. Unit sits in front of the lift; able to walk right out and ski down the mountain. We didn’t drive the car one time while there which meant no fighting for a parking spot!! The only complaint is that the fireplace is not useable, other than that, great stay!

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation to Sugar Mountain and Sugar Ski & Country Club! Unit 411 was what we expected and more! We could walk right out onto the slopes and the unit was beautiful! Reservation, check-in and check-out was very explanatory and simple. The location was great; there was so much to do around the Country Club! We had plenty of linens, dishes, and space to enjoy a long weekend together. There was a description/picture of a bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom which would have worked perfect for our son and his friend however when we got there, it was a full bed instead. Still I would recommend Unit 411 to anyone looking to enjoy a family fun-filled stay at Sugar Mountain!

We had a great time. The condo was comfortable, kitchen well stocked, master bedroom shower was great (good water pressure!). They left little things that helped so much: dish liquid, paper products, tea and hot chocolate. The ski in/ski out made it so convenient to eat lunch and dinner in and reduce pack up and drive time! Would stay here again.

The condo was remodeled and was such a wonderful place to stay! We had friends that stayed in other condos that were outdated and did not have an amenities. 411 was beautiful and had all things you needed. The only negative is there is a small odor that smells like mold that was very alarming. Also, the pool was freezing! They didn’t have the hest on until we asked, which was at the end of our stay. So that was frustrating.

Our family really enjoyed staying in this condo. It was spacious for us allowing us to have plenty of room to rest after a long day of skiing. The updates to the condo give it a new and updated interior which made it feel like a home away from home. Check in and check out was simple, we arrived late at night and left early in the morning.
Our older boys loved that they could ski right out the back door. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to cook family meals each night.

We really enjoyed staying in this condo. It was right at the top of the slopes... great ski in/ski out for experienced skier. Our daughters are younger and as inexperienced boarder/skier we had to use the shuttle to take them down to the bottom and then come up but that was super simple and convenient as well. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen fully stocked with spices, coffee maker, dishes etc.
The weather came quick and with a lot of snow, the resort was extremely accommodating with helping us add an additional day to get home at a safer time. They were very helpful with helping us turn on the fireplace. Overall, the stay was our best family vacation yet. I highly recommend this spot for a great time!

The only complaint I would have is if you are on a lower level you can hear through the ceiling when people walk around. Other then that we had a great stay!

Overall very pleased with the property and especially the staff. One thing that was not clear when making my reservation both on the web site and over the phone (or possibly I just missed) was that you may not be able to access or egress from the property (mountain top) without a 4-wheel drive vehicle or tire chains if there is snow on the road. I was trapped in the property for 3 days. That information should have been emphasized during the reservation process, I mean they should specifically ask if your vehicle is equipped for the mountain road. I luckily had all the supplies and food that I needed so it wasn't a big problem. The staff was extremely understanding and accommodating and even drove me and my daughter to the ski lodge so we could get our rental ski gear. The property was in good condition and the view is fantastic. The appliances were dated but all worked fine. We planned on cooking most meals instead of eating out so one small complaint is that most of the pots and pans need replacing. Most are warped with peeling non-stick coating. There also were no large kitchen knives so we had to make due with the smaller ones. Again, just a minor point that can be easily corrected. All in all I would recommend this property.

We have been coming to Sugar Mountain, and particularly Sugar Ski and Country Club, for many years. The scenery, good restaurants, activities and entertainment are only a few reasons we keep coming back. Although things were not perfect in the "housekeeping" department this time, the staff was very helpful in tending to the items that needed attention. The office staff and maintenance personnel are very professional and eager to please.

We would definitely stay with Sugar Ski and Country Club again just not in unit 411. It was not clean and the furnishings were very dated plus the fireplace was out of order. In the description, it indicates that there is no fireplace but the pictures clearly show that there is one. A better description would be, "the fireplace is out of order."

We stayed in Unit 411 5 nights and enjoyed it. The only downside was that they didn't have Oma's Meadow open until the day we checked out, so we couldn't take full advantage of the ski in - ski out feature. Other than that, this was very comfortable for our family of four. We have stayed in other units before, and this one was on par with the others.

We had a great stay with our 3 kids. The oldest was able to come and go to the slopes on his own. The condo is nice and clean and has good space for 5 people.The only complaint is that the mattresses VERY hard and we slept poorly for 4 nights.
There is a need for snow chains or 4 wheel drive to get to the condo during winter road conditions.

Late night check in was nice and easy to get into our room. The door doesn't have a bolt to lock with just 1 single regular handle knob, isn't very safe for a woman to stay. The condo is at the top of the slopes, you can easily ski down to the bottom which is nice. The fire place in our room was broken, and we weren't told that over the phone when we booked. The internet didn't work even though it was plugged in and on, nobody was at the office all weekend to call or help. The condo was extremely outdated, and would do very well with a few simple upgrades of decor for the price you pay to stay per night. We would stay again, but would like a nicer condo with a working fireplace and bring a safety mechanism for the door.

This place is roomy and is literally one minute walk around the corner and you strap your board on. View is great, right at top of Oma looking down to bottom of valley. Really nice if you have kids that need to go in a lot to warm up!
Only downside is the condo is a bit dated. However, we were there to eat, sleep and snowboard so it didn't matter to us!?
