This is a Premium Rated two-bed two bath condo in building 5 with free WI-FI. The living room offers a 32" TV, sofa bed, and an electric fireplace. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with all stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and hardwood floors. In the dining room there is seating for 6 at the dining table with additional seating at the bar. In the master bedroom there is a king size bed. In the guest room is a queen bed. I highly recommend this place. The views from on top of the mountain are beautiful. It was decorated very nicely. I felt completely at home during my stay also. My son loved the convenience of being able to ski out from our location. I wasn't able to do so because of my experience level but the drive down the mountain is short and beautiful and takes you directly to the ski resort.

My family and I have been visiting every year for 30+ Yrs! (Since I was 3) We are now bringing my children and they just absolutely love it! We have really enjoyed 523. This is our 2nd year in this unit! We are in love with the update that was done in 2017! Thank you for the hospitality! We enjoyed skiing all weekend. We also did Grandfather mtn this year & really enjoyed the experience.

This cozy condo offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, etc. to prepare full meals, which was exactly what we were hoping for. Everything was clean, and the view of the chairlift/slides was extraordinary. We also enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Bring extra sheets/blankets if you plan to use the pullout sofa, and note there is no central heat, but there are wall units that kept the unit at a comfortable temperature. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We rented two units and they were both very nice. Loved the views and being right on the slope. Would have given 5 stars but we had beer can on our balacony and in the living room of one of the units. Already planning our next stay here.

We loved our stay and our condo was perfect! Location was so nice to walk straight onto the slopes and start skiing and come in quick to grab a snack while on the slopes. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances and utensils we needed. Nicely updated and comfortable furniture. We will definitely be staying here again!

We so enjoyed our stay here! The unit was clean and well stocked. Beds are comfortable and the location is great! Nice touches with extras like packaged soap, dishwashing soap, extra trash bags and toilet paper. Very easy to work with property management. Ski in/ski out feature a mist for skiing! We hoe to rent again!

Had a great time, unit was decked out for winter and had a cabin feel. Perfect location. we will look to stay here again, hopefully pool area will open soon. Does have a washer/dryer but don't forget your shampoo.

Our stay was great at unit 523. The lack of snow did not hinder us this time, but we look forward to another stay when we can just ski right out to the lift from this awesome condo. And the beds were comfortable as well, that is rare for a vacation rental. 🙂

Wonderful time of year. A few days away to get some skiing in with our daughters and this was a perfect get away. Lovely condo and location. This one was especially nice with Christmas decorations and cozy. Loved it. Pictures don't do it justice. And, location to slopes superb. We will definitely be back ... and hopefully sooner than later.

This was a wonderful location to ski/snowboard the top of Big Red slope right by the lift, it was wonderful to ski in, ski out!
Place was warm (bring your own firewood/starter), and generally very comfortable. However, beds and especially pillows (very flat) made a night's rest difficult for us. If we had brought our own pillows, it would have been better, but we had no more room in the SUV (4 adults, 2 kids). 🙂

Appreciated the convenience of having ski rental on site and ski storage in building where we stayed. The snow making machines were running on our first night there and they detracted from the peacefulness we expect from the mountains and skiing. However, without the snow making there would have been no skiing. Was pleased to find coffee filters, new paper towel roll, dish detergent and a couple of trash bags.

The unit was very nice and roomy. It was just me and my two young daughters so the rooms worked great. Furnishings were nice and plenty of plates and glasses. A bit short on pots and pans and cooking utensils as I like to cook a lot. Needs a shovel in the closet to clear the porch. Can't use it or you will track snow into the unit. The location is awesome, about 20 meters from the chairlift. One of the lounge chairs is completely busted but some previous renter put it together so it looks in tact. I don't fault the owners as it looked fine to me before I sat in it and wound up on the floor.

We excaped the heat of summer to this wonderful oasis at the top of Sugar. The views over the ski slopes were so relaxing and an added treat were the dozen or so hummingbirds that entertained us as we sat on the porch. I was surprised to see the paper products, shampoo and soap that was provided. this was a special bonus. the place is charming. I was forewarned by another tenant to bring my our pillow and was happy that I did. Other than that it was a very rest-filled few days in a delightful place.
End of season, but room was perfect!

This is my second stay at Sugar Ski & Country Club -- this particular apartment was much better! If I come back to Sugar Mountain - It is possible I would ask for this room again.
Pros:
Location of unit 5 is definitely the best on the property -- worth the extra $$, we were able to snowboard, then come right back to our room to grab a drink or rest
Very clean and nicely decorated considering it was an older apartment
Decent enough mattresses
Enough dishes, though some better cutting knives would be nice.
Staff super friendly
Jacuzzi, pool and sauna were AMAZING!!! A must if you're snowboarding -- we went after every run
Cons: I'm only giving 4 stars because in March 2016, when we stayed, the sliding glass door was not allow to be open since the patio was damaged and needing replaced.
Also -- really, this isn't the rental properties fault -- but we only got to snowboard for 2 of the 3 days and only the conditions are good on the first day. -- maybe go no later than february

My wife and I were very impressed with this lovely, refurbished apartment. The handsome, furnishings and decor, new appliances and renovated bathrooms made for a comfortable, relaxing "perch" on a great mountaintop view. Couldn't ask for more...Well,...alright, get that good looking jacuzzi to work!:-)

Clean and well maintained, newly redone, comfortable, great attention to detail. Owners have done an excellent job! The unit had all that we needed for a relaxing get away! The master bedroom was a bit bright at night due to an outside light, so you may want to bring along a sleep mask if light bothers your sleep.
We are hoping this resort rebuilds the pool area. We would definitely rebook this unit!

This space is all you need to have a wonderful Sugar Mountain experience. Enjoy your spacious porch overlooking Oma's Meadow! Very nice and walk out to the slope. We hope to be back very soon!
